Over the years, Sarah Devlin has worked as a deckhand, a coffee barista, a bartender, a snow reporter, a magazine editor, and a correspondent for a UK-based trade magazine. Her articles have appeared in WoodenBoat; Professional BoatBuilder; Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors; Marina World; and Maine magazine. These days, she splits her time between Maine’s midcoast and western foothills since her favorite outdoor pastimes are boating and skiing—the least physically demanding of all the sports, except maybe spelling bees.
Sarah Devlin has been writing about the recreational industry since the late ’90s but ironically can’t run, swim, or bike a mile.Follow @DevlinSarah
